Melbourne West's Derby Day Breakfast

The Leader Community Newspaper West ran the following story on our Melbourne West Committee's fundraising Derby Day Breakfast.

Black Caviar jockey Luke Nolen has visited Williamstown to promote healthy lifestyles for children.

CHAMPION jockey Luke Nolen is championing healthy living.

The jockey of Black Caviar was in Williamstown today to launch Life Education Victoria's new Melbourne Western Region Mobile Learning Centre at a pre-Derby Day business fundraiser breakfast.

The new Mobile Learning Centre will visit primary schools throughout Hobsons Bay, Brimbank, Maribyrnong and Wyndham, delivering health and wellness education programs to empower children to make safe and healthy choices in life.

"Life Education delivers really valuable lessons to school kids around Australia," Nolen said.

The breakfast at the Strand Seafood Restaurant raised money for the Life Education Victoria program.
