iPads For Primary School Students

In a ground-breaking move, Invermay Primary School has issued iPad Minis to all their students.

Life Education Ballarat has recently partnered with Invermay PS in launching iPads to every pupil at the school. Invermay PS is one of the first schools in regional Victoria to equip students with one to one iPads.

The school’s Principal, Mr Justin Marshman, said the ambitious two year plan was to better connect parents to their children’s learning and experiences by providing a window onto their child’s classroom.

The iPads were also loaded with the new “Monster Family” app to allow the children and parents to practice their Cybersafety skills at home. Healthy Harold was there to hand out the iPads to the students whilst Life Education Ballarat’s educator, Scott, ran a Cybersafety presentation for parents . The launch was very well received by local media with coverage from local WIN TV, the Ballarat Courier and 3BA radio.
