With the first school term of the year behind us, Life Education Queensland has experienced huge growth in the number of students we’ve reached so far this year.
Across the state, we delivered our program to 33,081 students in Term 1, 2014. This is a significant increase over the 23,652 students we reached in Term 1, 2013.
The increase in student numbers can be attributed to a number of factors.
For the first time since 2005, Life Education is back in the Mackay region. The response in the region to the return of Life Education after an 8 year absence has been overwhelmingly positive.
Life Education’s commitment to making our program accessible to as many students as possible is another reason for the increase in student numbers. We have worked hard to drive growth in lower socio-economic areas to ensure all students across the state have access to our program.
Life Education looks forward to continued growth for the rest of the year.
