Easter a time of renewal

It’s my favourite time of year – and no, not just because of the chocolate eggs! Harold says they’re ok, by the way, because they are a “sometimes food”. But, I digress.

There are many things I love about Easter time. The humidity in Sydney evaporates to make way for fresh, clean, sunny days and crisp nights.

The Easter break means not just religious rebirth, but renewal of state of mind. Holidays centre us after the hectic start to the year and then productivity rises.

It is also a time of renewal of mind in education. Children who’ve been settling into new classes and new teachers and new friendships find themselves in the comfort of routine. And it’s at this time Life Education lessons are especially impactful.

Development of program content at Life Education is going through a period of enormous and exciting renewal, too.

We have five brand new program modules in development for the kindy, year one and year two students. We have new indigenous resources currently being used in classes. Brand new whizz-bang 3D body graphics are about to be launched which will give students realistic fly-throughs of the body. Thanks to the Federal Government’s ICE taskforce, Life Education is also producing a new drugs module for upper primary school students which will be available by Term 4.

These new offerings complement our suite of 16 different programs in areas of drugs, alcohol, respectful relationships and cyberbullying spanning preschool to high school. We are better resourced in programming, technology and expertise than we ever have been before! Do your local schools have us? Please help us spread the word.
