Celebrating 35 years of Life Education

More than 5 million Australian children have benefited directly from their participation in the Life Education program since Ted Noffs founded our organisation 35 years ago.

Last Friday we celebrated our 35th Anniversary with a special event in Sydney.

Our guests of honour were the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove as well as the Governor of NSW and Sir Nicholas Shehadie. The Governor-General spoke glowingly in support of our work which was very much appreciated. We were able to present the Governor of NSW with the 2014 Humanitarian Award. Everyone in the room very much enjoyed being part of this.

Unfortunately the Prime Minister had to visit India and was unable to attend. He was represented by Malcolm Turnbull accompanied by his wife Lucy.

The evening provided us the opportunity to reflect on our past achievements, as well as take stock, recognize the importance of our work and commit to its ongoing development.

We would like to thank to our Platinum Sponsor Meriton and it's founder Harry Triguboff, as well as our Gold Sponsors, Bupa, McAfee, Aussie and Budget.

We also thank the Grahame Mapp Foundation for it's generous support for the evening.
