Alcoa extends their support

Alcoa Kwinana Alumina Refinery renewed its partnership with Life Education WA for another year in 2018 which originally commenced in 2014. The partnership has allowed primary students in schools located in the City of Kwinana to receive the Life Education programs for 4 years which has been greatly appreciated by schools to assist them in their Health and Wellbeing programs.

During 2018 the program was extended to certain schools in the neighbouring City of Rockingham where families from the Alcoa refinery also reside.

A number of parents in these difficult economic times find it hard to cover the fees of our incursion and this is where the Alcoa funding ensures those students get the opportunity to further enhance their learnings and skills and build their resilience.

Pinjarra Alumina Refinery

The community partnership with Alcoa’s Pinjarra Alumina Refinery commenced in 2018 and is a 2 year partnership through to 2019 which covers the schools in the town of Pinjarra and surrounding areas.

This has once again proven valuable to the students in this region as Life Education has not had the capacity to reach this area in the past and

I just wanted to let you know that we really enjoyed our Life Education van visit. The session was so interactive and the children really LOVED it. The content was relevant and engaging. They especially LOVED their sticker and their very own activity booklet. Harold was a hit! We would love to do it again next year.
