Life Education Queensland is a health promotion charity and the state’s largest nonprofit provider of drug and health education to children. Celebrating 40 years in Australia, our mascot Healthy Harold is known to millions of Australian children.
Reporting to the CEO, as Fundraising Manager, you will lead the fundraising team to increase revenue in support of our vision of generations of health young Queenslanders living to their full potential.
With overall responsibility for developing and implementing effective fundraising programs, your success will be measured through the following areas:
Donor stewardship - motivating and inspiring regular donors to maintain their support each month by powerfully connecting supporters to our vision, mission and outcomes.
Decline management – effectively addressing failed payments from existing supporters to reduce delinquency rates.
Donor save strategy - managing inbound cancellation requests so that donors are made aware of the importance of their support and provided with alternatives to enable their support to continue.
Donor reactivation – generating support from lapsed donors.
Gift processing – ensuring that supporter gifts are transacted in an accurate and timely manner each month.
Managing face-to-face suppliers – managing relationships with suppliers and monitoring their activities.
Create and manage other revenue streams such as single gifts; bequests; major gifts and corporates.
You will bring demonstrated success in fundraising management in the NFP sector, along with a dynamic approach and track record of achievement in developing and implementing fundraising strategies and campaigns. Success with previous management of a regular giving program through face to face donors will be essential.
You will be a strategic thinker as well as happy to get amongst the team and roll your sleeves up to lead with actions. Proven success managing a team and multiple internal and external stakeholders will also be essential.
