As part of Hume City Council's celebration of the 175 year anniversary of the founding of Sunbury, the local community was asked to nominate someone who has made a significant contribution to the Sunbury community over the past 175 years.

Clover Cottage Fundraising Event
Wednesday 26th October saw yet another successful dinner at Clover Cottage, Berwick, the annual fundraising event for the Dandenong/Springvale/Chelsea LEV Committee. As usual, Clover Cottage, set in the Victorian era of elegance and style, excelled itself with a first-class meal, gorgeous surroundings and a light tinkle on the piano for background music, the latter provided by Trevor Burr, an experienced classical pianist.
An extended raffle and silent auction helped swell the funds raised to just on $2,000. Committee Chairman John Gibson was an excellent MC (again) and paid tribute to the many people who make Life Education such a success. Thank you to the Dandenong/Springvale/Chelsea Committee (with some help from LEV) for hosting another successful evening.
