Harold visits California Gully Primary School

California Gully Primary School students had a visit from Healthy Harold and the Life Education Van last week.

Students were educated on bullying, nutrition, drugs, alcohol, personal safety, general health and wellness, and cyber safety.

Life Education Victoria chief executive officer Michelle Wood said the organisation aimed to empower young to make informed decisions about their health, wellbeing and behaviours by developing their knowledge and skills through the program.

"Our sessions, due to their unique and exciting nature, provide children with a memory, and within the memory is knowledge from the session," she said.

"Students are motivated by the interactive delivery of the content which is aligned to the National curriculum, current, relevant and age specific.

"The residual learning assist them to make healthy lifestyle decisions."

Life Education Victoria has 17 mobile learning centres operating across Victoria.
