Harold Visits The Canberra Show

canberrashow1The ACT mobile classroom attend the Canberra Show this year on the 26th, 27th and 25th of February.  The show was a wonderful opportunity to speak with parents and Harold graduates as well as inspiring the minds of children. 

Outside the van was a display with information on our programs and while educators and volunteers chatted with parents about Life Education their children were entertained in the van with fun activities like making a healthy food pyramid or putting the skeleton puzzle together.
 
Haold at Bunnings

bbq1Harold made a welcome appearance at Bunnings in Wagga Wagga on Australia Day where the Murrumbidgee Life Support Group was offered to run the Australia Day BBQ.  Harold  had fun making a map of Australia at the kids workshop!
 
Murrumbidgeee Tree Of Rememberance

mandhThe photo shows Mackenzie Tooth, the niece of educator Nadia Tooth, and Harold at the launch of the Christmas Tree at the Wagga Wagga Market Place in December 2009.

People bought tags in the shape of a candle and wrote a message to a loved one who had passed away or couldn't be with at Christmas and hung it on the tree as a way of remembering them. Money raised went to the Murrumbidgee Life Support Group.
