We are delighted to announce that Wesfarmers Resources have pledged $150,000 to Life Education in two rural communities in Queensland and Western Australia.
This will enable children at schools in Collie and the surrounding regions of Western Australia and Blackwater in Central Queensland to better access vital drug and health education from Life Education ($75,000 for each community). Mr Stewart Butel, Managing Director Wesfarmers Resources, believes this is an important investment for the future, and part of their commitment to the health and wellbeing of children. CEO of Life Education Jay Bacik said "We are delighted that Wesfarmers has taken up the challenge to support rural communities like this, people in the bush are doing it tough, and this injection of funds will enable Life Education to do what it does best, help protect Aussie kids from the scourge of drus and alcohol abuse". |
