Our Ambassadors

Life Education Australia is proud to have enormous support from the industries of health, sports, entertainment and business across Australia.

Our Ambassadors have a true dedication to Life Education’s cause and philanthropy. Life Education Australia is honoured and grateful to have the active involvement of our Ambassadors in fundraising and children's events around the country.

Life Educations Australia’s key Ambassadors Michael Clarke and Professor Fiona Wood are at the forefront of our work and help forge fundraising relationships and raise awareness of the work we do everyday.

Michael Clarke

Everything Michael Clarke does communicates his excitement, whether its scoring a 100 in his michael_clarkeinternational cricket debut or bowling out the tail and taking out the last fight of another worthy opponent.

Recruited as a youngster to represent his country, Michael has met every challenge including the responsibilities of leading his country on several occasions. He does everything with passion and he still has room for family, friends and supporting Life Education Australia.michael_clarke_with_kids2

"Life Education teaches
you to understand your body,
and that helps you to get
the most out of yourself......
you have to have confidence
and self-respect to achieve
success. Life Education inspires
that in young Aussies too"

Dr Fiona Wood

Western Australia's only female plastic surgeon is a mother of six, Head of Royal Perth Hospital's Burns fionawoodUnit and Director of the Western Australia Burns Service.

She is also co-founder of Clinical Cell Culture, a private company recognised in medical circles for its world-leading research and breakthroughs in the treatment of burns.

In addition, Dr Fiona Wood is also a Clinical Professor with the School of Paediatrics and Child Health at the University of Western Australia and Director of the McComb Research Foundation. She has become world renowned for her patented invention of spray-on skin for burns victims, a treatment which is continually developing. Where previous techniques of skin culturing required 21 days to produce enough cells to cover major burns, Fiona has reduced that period to five days.

Via her research, Fiona found that scarring is greatly reduced if replacement skin could be provided within 10 days. As a burns specialist the holy grail for Dr Fiona Wood is ‘scarless, woundless, healing'.

"My kids have all had the benefit of Life Education, learning about
looking after their bodies, and making wise choices…
it’s an opportunity every Australian child deserves”
