LIFE EDUCATION ANNUAL REVIEW
This year, we are marking the 30th anniversary of Life Education in Australia. From small beginnings in 1979 at the Wayside Chapel in Kings Cross, Sydney,the late Rev Ted Noffs exercised his great vision and plan to empower young people to make the best choices for a safe life.His passionate battle in the war against illicit drugs, tobacco and alcohol abuse had begun and, due to his commitment, within a decade Life Education Australia was flourishing as a non-government educational charity in all states of Australia.

Curragh Helps Life Education to Keep Kids Safe
Life Education Australia will be able to provide drug education to more children in the Central Queensland region thanks to a $75,000 community grant from Wesfarmers Resources. The partnership, attended by a number of local dignitaries, was launched at Blackwater North State School on Monday, 27 April 2009. According to Wesfarmers Public Affairs Manager, Kent Beasley, the partnership will ensure that all Blackwater and Blackwater North State School students will receive the Life Education program free of charge.
